You can see from the pictures on this page that Lujuria
is a beautiful, elegant mare. In addition to her beauty
and presence she has great movement which
includes
quickness with impressive hock action. When Lujuria
is moving you can't help but look at her; she is that
impressive. In addition to this she has great
bloodlines
including Retorno, Amadeus, and Impacto. Lujuria
was imported from Colombia, and has been shown
very successfully. She has earned many first places
and Championships in both Performance and Pleasure
divisions in the Open and Amateur Owner classes.
She has earned her Legion of Merit (LOM) and has
been
Champion in the Asheville, Wilmington, Murfreesboro,
and Springfield shows, She also earned a Third
Place in the 2002 Grand National Show in the Amateur
Owner
Pleasure Mares and a Reserve Grand National
Champion in Performance A/O Mares in 2003. Lujuria
is currently in foal to Portal de La Amistad for 2008.
