2008 Show Year

La Amistad Offspring

Portal's offspring are looking good. Three out of the five yearlings showed this year all placing at Nationals Bella Forma classes. Primavera placed third and fifth in her classes, Porcelana (Lisa's) placed fifth in addition to getting a first place in the Asheville show, and Magnifico placed second and third. Two of those wins were in the Breeders Sweepstakes classes which paid money to the participants' owners, plus to Hacienda La Amistad as the owner of the sire, Portal. This year there were 4 Portal fillies born, two are ours out of Proeza and Lujuria which you can see in this website. These fillies are very exciting. Proeza's filly is specially exciting for us since she is the first offspring of two horses bred and raised by us. Another filly is Lisa's out of her Premier daughter, Prisa, and the fourth one is Moira Smith's from Su Casa Ranch in Tennessee. These also look very good and we expect some of them to participate in the 2009 Breeders Sweepstakes classes at Nationals.
